Hi, I’m Prianka! Nice to meet you
I am a UX Research Lead with 6+ years of experience conducting applied research across fintech, healthcare, and industrial design.
My background in clinical psychology allows me to have deep empathy for human behavior, while also empowering me to use both quantitative and qualitative research to provide data-driven results.
Currently, I am a UX Research Lead at Morgan Stanley working on creating a UX Research practice from the ground up within the Institutional Securities Group. As a researcher, my strengths are:
Generative research planning and execution
Development of UX strategy
Research proposals and pitching
Evaluative research and iterative design
Quantitative research methods and data analysis
My Process
As a research leader, much of my role encompasses scoping a project, working with stakeholders, conducting end-to-end research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to get a product over the finish line.
Adaptive Research
Because many of the teams I work with are new to research, I go in with a flexible approach to ensure that we are conducting effective research that fits the needs of the team. What is most important to me is that we strike a balance between pursuing data-driven results with a timeline, budget, and method that everyone agrees with.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
So much of the work I do is facilitating collaboration across product, design, and tech to ensure that we are building products with intention. Managing expectations, goals and timelines across these teams while continuing to pursue research with high rigor has strengthened my skills as both a researcher and a leader.
Data Driven Results
As a researcher, I use a mix of quantitative and qualitative data to inform my results to ensure that I’m providing accurate, actionable insights.
